Under 17 Premiers 2015/16
A huge congratulations to our Under 17's who have won the 2015/16 Neil Daley Shield. After rain prevented play on the Thursday night, the game was reduced to a one dayer on the Friday night.
The Cougars batted first putting on 7/118 (De Silva 52, Welmillage 26, Puri 18) in 24 overs. Toorak-Prahran were then bowled out for 99 in the 20th over (Grant 3/10, MacGregor 2/19). A big thank you to all supporters, family, friends and senior players who came down to Romanis Park on Friday night.
This is the Juniors 19th flag and the 6th for the Under 16/17s and brings the total Premierships for the Club to 39 in our 55 seasons history.
U17 Grand Final Details
Our U17's have made the Grand Final! An absolutely outstanding achievement!
Please make sure you make an effort to get down and watch our boys and girls try and take home our third U17 flag. The U17's are playing this Thursday and Friday night at Romanis Park (A'Beckett Street, Toorak) against Toorak-Prahran Blue. So chuck on your green and gold training tops and head down this Thursday and Friday night and help create that home ground atmosphere!
Senior Presentation Night
The 2015 16 Glen Waverley Cougars Senior Presentation Night will be held on Saturday 19th March.
This year we are holding the presentation night at Glen Waverley North Reserve (corner of Madeline and Mulgrave Street, Glen Waverley).
The night will kick off at 7:00pm - with dinner being served from 7:30pm. The cost will be $25 per head (including 1 FREE drink) which can be paid on the night. We will be offering a selection of Lamb, Beef, Pork (and Biryani rice as a vegetarian option), multiple salad options and dessert. Drinks will be available over the bar.
It's a great night where all senior awards will be given out, captains will provide season reports and it's also a great opportunity to come together as a club, catch up and reflect on the season.
Please RSVP to Jason Combridge on 0400 590 200 or firstname.lastname@example.org no later than FRIDAY 11th MARCH as catering needs to be organised.
We encourage all past and present players to attend with their partners.
