New Club Record
Exciting news coming out of our Second XI last Saturday afternoon of a new Club Record, with a 9th wicket partnership of 123* between Amandeep ('Harby'), undefeated on 49 and Ryan, undefeated on 46.
This surpasses the previous best 9th wicket partnership of 97, set in 2002/03 by 'Skip' Lloyd and 'Kinga' Davidson.
Congratulations guys, a fantastic effort!
What makes this news even more exciting is that Harby and Ryan are two of the Club's up and coming youngsters, both being involved in the Club's U17 premiership last season (Ryan is playing U17 level again this season).
Given that their key skillset lies in tweaking their off-spinners, hopefully they will team up again this weekend, this time with the ball, to spin the Second XI to victory.
